A National RYLA in Lebanon, in Ehden country club from the 26 till the 29th of March 2009, the program is rich with topics about team building and crisis management given by the two international, well renowned companies LEADS and STARMANSHIP. The program is divided to 2 workshop / lectures days and 1 excursion day with an opening and a closing ceremony rich with activities such as a round table testimony for Rotaractors who had a major shift in careers post RYLA.
RYLA is a Rotary initiative that helps the youth of this country to develop communication proficiency, personal qualities, ethics, and leadership skills, aiming at empowering them to become active citizens and productive members in their societies. This initiative will jump-start the minds of these youngsters to become skillful professionals in a country whose economy is in a great need of such people.
RYLA is an intensive training program for community young leaders. Participants are chosen for their leadership potentials and will attend an all-expenses-paid hands-on workshop to discuss and learn the ABCs of Leadership.
Through the private sector sponsorships, RYLA 2009 will reach more than 100 youngsters, 18 to 30 years old, coming from all over the country to develop their acquired skills and to learn how to acquire new ones so that they become better employees, consumers or suppliers. RYLA 2008 will take place in Ehden Country Club from March 26th to March 29th, 2009.
